Brown steampunk necklace by ukapala Brown steampunk necklace by ukapala
The central piece is made with a wire wrapping technique, made of various watch parts (including a huge piece of a brass pocket watch movement), fire polished glass, metal and lampwork/silver foil glass beads. The necklace part is crocheted with enamelled copper wire and various glass beads. It took many hours to complete this necklace, this is my most time consuming creation so far.

This is so gorgeous. It is so intricate and I can imagine the long process that went into it. All of your pendants are amazing and you certainly have your own original style!

Whoa! That's just beautiful, I can totally see myself walking around wearing that all the time. I mean, I wouldn't even cared if it matched, that's an awesome piece of work, is it a one time item, or can it continuously be commissioned?

All my items are unique, but I can make similar. This one's still available, though.

Oh I see, I wish my job weren't jerking me around with my uniform otherwise I'd be able to buy something, or even this. =\

What a stunning piece of work! It's amazing how much detail you put into this. Can't imagine how much of a headache it must have been to put the back of it all together like that. Amazing though.

this is way bigger than anything I would personally wear but it's lovely just the same. . . I love the mix of brown and amber hues and the textures created by the crocheting it's very visually interesting :)

Because it's a special occasions thing, you wouldn't wear it every day anyway
